Position Overview

As a member of the Corporate Total Rewards Team, the Senior Compensation Analyst will contribute to an effective and efficient delivery of compensation-related tasks including, but not limited to compensation data analytics/analysis, survey participation and management, compliance research, and third-party market software management. This role may provide additional ad-hoc support across the compensation team through job evaluations, market pricing, running design/budget impact scenarios, etc.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the overall survey calendar and participate in third-party Global Compensation surveys, budget planning surveys, practice surveys and other ad-hoc market intelligence surveys.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in program administration of external compensation pricing and pay analytics system/software including, but not limited to, system set-up, reporting, analytics, and compensation modeling.
  • Lead the development of dashboard reporting and analytics to generate insights and inform leadership on market competitiveness of pay practices.
  • Work closely with HRIS team to improve compensation-related reporting and dashboards within Workday.
  • Collaborate with Compensation Partners to assist with job analysis, market pricing, and development of new job descriptions to support recruitment goals.
  • Provide advice to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams, HR Business Partners, managers, and business leaders on pay decisions, policy, and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and compensation peers to standardize and streamline existing compensation and job description practices. Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Support the development of training materials for internal stakeholders as assigned.
  • Consult with external compensation consultants for advice and expertise as necessary.
  • Monitor and engage in compliance and pay practices reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Keep apprised of global, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations and stay informed of new industry trends and best practices in compensation.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field. High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of compensation and job evaluation theories, applicable wage/hour regulations, and salary survey methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
  • Advanced level proficiency in Excel including, but not limited to pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation, data manipulation, charts/graphs/visualizations, etc.
  • Extensive experience working with third-party market platforms. Knowledge of survey participation, survey management, automated benchmarking tools, market intelligence, analytics, etc. will be required.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
  • Strong technical, analytical skills, and organizational skills to identify and solve problems and independently lead projects as necessary.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Knowledge of Pay Factors automated benchmarking tool #LI-RS1

Salary Range:

$85,000.00 - $135,000.00

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
