Treasury Capital Markets Analyst

The position supports the execution of capital market strategies and capital structure management at MMC, including debt issuance (both short-term and long-term), share buybacks, dividend policy and financial flexibility analysis.

We will count on you to:

  • Prepare and distribute various daily and quarterly reports to communicate Treasury’s activities throughout the company
  • Work with businesses to support global issuances of guarantees and letters of credit
  • Facilitate external financing activities, such as Commercial Paper, RCF, Term Loan and Bond borrowings
  • Prepare regular analyses of US corporate cash and worldwide interest expense / income
  • Maintain annual cash flow forecast to manage liquidity
  • Oversee and execute capital market projects such as share repurchases
  • Provide support for preparation of presentations to senior management on financing activities

What you need to have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics/Mathematics or 3-5 years of work experience working with numbers
  • Knowledge of finance / accounting
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience in Excel-based financial modelling
  • Knowledge of VBA and / or Python programming languages

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,300 to $108,500.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
