As the BDR Manager at Natterbox, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). Your primary focus will be to oversee both the qualification of inbound leads and the execution of outbound prospecting strategies to drive awareness and generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can coach and develop a high-performing team, optimise lead generation processes, and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline growth

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of BDRs to develop their skills in lead qualification, prospecting, and outreach.
  • Foster a positive, results-driven team culture that emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Ensure that inbound leads are swiftly and accurately assessed to meet qualification criteria before being handed off to Account Executives.
  • Oversee the creation of targeted prospecting lists, lead generation campaigns, and outreach sequences using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, and other prospecting platforms.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development for individual team members to help them grow and succeed.
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for both inbound and outbound efforts, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds lead generation and qualification targets.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead response time, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and BDR activity levels.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR management role, preferably in the SaaS or technology space.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales development teams with a focus on both inbound and outbound lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of lead qualification, prospecting, and sales engagement best practices.
  • Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism and other sales tools to manage and track BDR activity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop sales talent.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze key metrics and drive actionable insights.
