Job Title
Lead Information Security Engineer
Has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or function. Provides expert guidance, promotes innovation and formally trains groups of less experienced professionals.
- Has a broad understanding of the environment and uses it to improve efficiency, recommends solutions/best practices and influence the strategy of the department. Translates the strategy of the activity into a concrete action plan for the area, setting and monitoring targets for the team.
- Works independently, based on management directions. May coordinate functional teams or projects and serves as a best practices/quality resource.
Specific accountabilities:
- Design and/or review IAM processes (joiner/mover/leaver).
- Participate in functional roles definition in order to implement an RBAC (Role Based Access Control) model.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including business and technology teams, to develop a common perspective and ensure the IAM program aligns with the organization's objectives and addresses its security needs.
- Gather IAM business needs from various stakeholders and analyze them to provide appropriate solutions.
- Participate in and support IAM governance activities.
Qualifications:
- Overall 15 years’ experience with at least 10-12 years of IAM experience.
- At least 4 years in a significant IAM program, either as a program manager or as a subject matter expert.
- Proven track record in managing large scale security programs and projects
- Thorough and in-depth understanding of IAM principles such as authentication methods, authorization models, user lifecycle, and the importance of certifying user access.
- Good knowledge of several IAM technologies is expected (for example, PAM, IGA, SSO tools).
- Prior IAM consulting experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of Cybersecurity concepts.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to take ownership of projects and work across geographically dispersed teams and organization.
- A collaborative and results-oriented team player.
