Mobile Device Management (MDM) Developer

Salary Range: 8-$15 based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced MDM Developer to design, implement, and maintain a robust Mobile Device Management system that supports both iOS and Android devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of MDM frameworks, protocols, and security standards, and a proven track record of successfully deploying MDM solutions in enterprise environments. We are looking to build our own MDM from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design & Development: Build and implement MDM solutions for iOS and Android platforms that meet enterprise-level security and compliance requirements.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all MDM solutions adhere to industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and others as applicable.
- Device Management: Develop features for remote configuration, monitoring, and management of devices, including policy enforcement, app deployment, and remote wipe.
- User Experience: Create a seamless user experience for administrators and end-users, focusing on usability and functionality.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience developing and deploying MDM solutions for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong understanding of MDM protocols such as Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Managed App Configurations, Android Enterprise, and others.
- Experience with MDM tools such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar platforms.
- Programming Skills:
- Proficiency in languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, and Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
- Security Knowledge:
- Understanding of mobile security best practices, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years specifically in MDM.
- Certifications in relevant MDM tools or platforms (e.g., Jamf Certified Admin, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
