Summary:

As a Senior Clinical Data Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing data management activities, including developing data automation plans, supervising database development, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical trial databases through rigorous testing and validation.

About the Role:

  • Manage data management activities, including oversight of external data providers.
  • Develop and execute SAS macros and programs for clinical trials, encompassing ETL processes, data validations, statistical analyses, and report generation.
  • Collaborate in the design of study protocols, focusing on data collection and management strategies.
  • Support the Data Management and Statistical Programming teams in their activities.
  • Ensure that clinical study databases are designed per established definitions and standards.
  • Conduct data automation tasks independently, including software development, testing, and validation.
  • Coordinate and complete data management tasks with cross-functional teams to adhere to project timelines.
  • Monitor databases and data management activities daily.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and entry-level staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • OR a master’s degree with 3-5 years of equivalent industry experience OR a PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience would be considered as an advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience in data automation, statistical programming, or related fields
  • Proficiency in automation systems and data visualization tools.
  • Strong expertise in SAS and databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, R, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs for data downloading is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience in coding and design.

Monthly base salary for this position is from € 4025,00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
