Virtual Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Canadian Income Tax expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Canadian Income Tax laws, ASPE, and Excel. In this role, you will work closely with Canadian clients to provide expert tax advice and assistance, as well as develop and implement Excel-based templates to streamline their accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file various Canadian income tax returns, including personal, corporate, and trust returns.
• Provide tax planning advice and strategies to clients to minimize their tax liabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Canadian tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement Excel-based templates to automate and streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting documents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Canadian Income Tax preparation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
