Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst has an advanced understanding of Microsoft’s data, reporting, and business intelligence tools to assist in delivering on our internal data and business intelligence initiatives. This individual must possess the skills required to successfully execute project tasks, have a strong work ethic, and be a dynamic team player. This role will be expected to execute work on one or more data or integration projects simultaneously as delegated by the Information Director. Project work will include a variety of data modeling, ETL, analysis, and reporting efforts.

Responsibilities

• Understand Microsoft’s data, reporting, and business intelligence tools to assist in delivering on our internal data and business intelligence initiatives
• Successfully execute project tasks, have a strong work ethic, and be a dynamic team player
• Execute work on one or more data or integration projects simultaneously as delegated by the Information Director
• Perform a variety of data modeling, ETL, analysis, and reporting efforts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience designing, modeling and implementing end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions in the Microsoft stack

Additional Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience with SQL Server Database, Integration Services, Analysis Services, and Reporting Services
• 2+ years’ experience using Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service and/or advanced knowledge of
• MS Excel, Power Query and Power Pivot
• Microsoft MCSE Data Management and Analytics, preferred
• Experience with R language preferred, but not required
• Experience with Microsoft’s Cortana Intelligence preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy a must
• Excellent verbal/written skills required
• Experience with accounting terms and concepts preferred
