As a Support member, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical issues of existing customers and will be part of discovering new ideas within the FinTech industry.

We are now looking for a Application/Production support professional to strengthen the Calypso cloud support team in Pune. You will be first point of contact for the clients we support globally. Including this you will have technical knowledge to address client queries and resolve their issues.

With this position we offer

Join the Calypso Cloud support team. The primary goal for the Calypso Cloud Support Team in Pune is to enhance the team’s overall effectiveness. As the initial point of contact for our global clients, you will leverage your technical expertise to address their queries and resolve issues. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure comprehensive support.

Your role and responsibilities:

· Work on and resolve client issues related to Calypso architecture, operating system, network, JVM and other Calypso infrastructure components within the Nasdaq Cloud Platform and environment.

· Replicate issues, document them, provide configuration suggestions to Customers, provide Engineering teams comprehensive information in form of test cases to facilitate permanent solutions.

· Analyze application logs and suggest solutions for performance related problems to the Nasdaq Calypso platform.

· Resolution of Incidents and Service Requests following SLAs and ITIL Incident Management Processes

· Take full ownership of customer incidents and problems through to full resolution and closure.

· Work closely with our Product team, Operational team, and DevOps team in following up on issues and their resolution.

· Supply to our Knowledge Database with articles documenting issues, workaround, standard processes and how-to.

· Address Infrastructure and automation related issues (Kubernetes deployment)

· Participate in Change request activities, such as configuration changes, new version deployment, maintenance activities and environment validation.

· Flexibility to work across all shift schedules (morning, mid, and night) and to work on some PH holidays based on business needs.

Besides working closely with your colleagues in Pune, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Furthermore, you will have:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in the relevant technologies, software, and tools used in the application. This includes solve, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
  • Client Interaction: Strong communication skills to optimally in work well withclients, understand their issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and address sophisticated problems, often under pressure, while ensuring minimal disruption to clients' operations.
  • Teamwork: Experience working with multi-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA teams, to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Documentation: Skill in creating and maintaining detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and support processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Capability to proactively supervise applications to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact clients.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments and client needs.
  • Customer Focus: A strong commitment to customer satisfaction, including understanding client requirements and ensuring their needs are met promptly and optimally.
  • Incident Management: Experience with incident management processes, including critical issue procedures and coordinating with various teams during high-impact incidents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify areas for process improvement and chip in to initiatives aimed at enhancing support efficiency and effectiveness.

We expect you to have

  • · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other related subject area.
  • · At least 3+ years in application and production support with a background in Java language.
  • · Experience in Linux/Unix server application-based troubleshooting.
  • · Exposure and understanding of cloud technologies/concepts (OCI and AWS)
  • · Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL)
  • · Good knowledge in some of the following technologies: TCP/IP, firewalls, VLAN, VPN, HTTP(S), SSH, JMS (IBM MQ), Kubernetes (containers), Terraform.
  • · Good oral and written communication skills are critical.
  • · Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, consistency to internal defined process and standard methodologies
  • · Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, standout colleague, and collaborator.
  • It would be great if you
  • · Experience with FinTech products, especially Nasdaq Calypso Platform.
  • · Good knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks
