CORE FUNCTIONS

Employment Verification

  • Responsible for all Employment Verification (EV) requests across EPIC subsidiaries received via FormSite portal, fax (704-626-6674), e-mails (ev@epichcstaffing.com) and VM/phone calls (TBD).
  • Requests are not limited to:
    • Verification of Employment (VOE) – validation of employment date, position, and facility,
    • Verification of Income (VOI) – for personal and housing loans / mortgage purposes,
    • Issuance of Certificate of Employment (COE),
    • Issuance of HR-related letters – for Jury Duty exemption and visa application,
    • HR-related Compliance and onboarding requirements – for Subpoena and Board of Nursing (BON), and
    • Other government compliance - for Child Support and state claims.
  • Communicate instructions/confirmation to requesters within 24-48 business hours upon receipt of request.
  • In coordination with:
    • Payroll for pay-related items and worked hours verification,
    • Credentialing Team any anticipated on-boarding travelers for waiving of processing fee and Subpoena, and
    • Benefits team for child support and any benefits-related claims
  • Document all efforts/communications and updates in writing via e-mail. Tags and archive request via Outlook and FormSite portal then updates the monitoring sheet on a timely manner.
  • Escalate any question/concern with immediate superior particularly items pertaining to government, loan, claims and board request then follow as instructed.
  • Participate in weekly meetings/presentation.
  • May assign HR-related projects / reports from time to time.
