Senior Product Engineer (Front End)

With just a small team (~20 people), Motion has thrived over the last two years and 2023 is shaping up to be a defining year. We’ve raised funding and are hitting the mark with our users. This role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help us build a category defining company in the “creative-tech” space.

• 5+ years of experience as a front-end engineer, with experience building products people love and use every day.
• Strong grasp of front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and relevant frameworks/libraries.
• Startup experience with a proven ability to thrive and lead in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to think beyond technical questions and understand the bigger picture of product development and customer value.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic mindset that focuses on simple paths to delivering value. Some experience with full stack development, e.g. Node.js and MongoDB.
• A desire to just get things done on the backend, when the situation calls for it.
• Impatience for shipping product features to our users.
