Our engineering team defines the technical architecture and drives itself to build systems that serve billions of requests per day, cosmic scales of video content streamed every day, with ultra-low latency design and high reliability. We make sure every byte of video content gets to millions of viewers, at the highest quality possible. We are growing fast and looking for talented Engineers who are up for one of the biggest yet outcomes in the video streaming business as we gun to be the primary destination for digital first entertainment in India and make JioCinema accessible to every Indian.

What You’ll Do:

• Conceive product and service architecture.
• Ensure scalability, availability, reliability, and ease of operations.
• Collaborates with technical leaders mentors the internal engineering talent.
• On a given day, you may write and / or review architecture and design docs, and / or code for a new product, service, or proof-of-concept for your team.
• Participate in strategic discussions on programs that impact the company.
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
• Fully and completely understand system inter dependencies and limitations.
• Possess expert knowledge in performance, scalability, distributed architecture, and engineering best practices.

Who should apply:

• Lead a full product development lifecycle from requirement gathering, product design, development, to roll out and maintenance.
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality.
• Lead by example and mentor other developers in the team both technically and professionally.
• Experience in building Apps from Scratch is a big plus.
• Hands on experience with RxSwift, SwitftUI, MVVM, Viper, Audio/Video Framework, Animation, Google Map APIs.
• Deep understanding of iOS SDKs.
• Experience in multithreaded programming and excellent memory management know how.
• Proficient in Swift. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks.
• Experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform/Flutter/Xamarin will be an added advantage.
• Strong Swift with MVVM patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms
