What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Engineer to implement and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting models, and scripts. The role will also maintain and support data models and data pipelines, and ensure data replication through ETL and batch processing. Additionally, the role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create technical documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and international standards.

What are we expecting from this role?

• Implement, maintain, and support Power BI dashboard, reporting models, and reporting scripts.
• Maintain and support data models and data pipeline.
• Implement data replication using ETL and batch processing, utilizing tools like SQL Server Agent, SSIS, and ADF.
• Perform data cleansing, extraction, and patching.
• Monitor data replication, ETL processes, and Power BI dashboard.
• Collaborate within and across teams to implement, integrate, and migrate data as needed within the local scope.
• Collaborate with various functions (Agile delivery, Product, Application team, Data Science, Architecture, Infrastructure, etc.) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines, including technical specifications and design/architecture diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and international best practices and standards in all development and implementation activities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Who are we looking for?

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, and Microsoft Azure SQL PaaS DB, as well as hands-on experience with Azure Services, specifically Azure SQL PaaS and Azure VM.
• Experience with data replication using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions in an agile environment using CI/CD deployment models.
• Proficiency in using development tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes using SQL scripting with SQL Agent or SSIS Job.
• Understanding of corporate processes and regional policies.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) using SSIS or similar technologies.
