The Role:

The Business Development Manager is one of the most challenging positions that Paktor Group has to offer. You will have a high impact on the growth and development of our offline business unit, through leading and empowering those around you to dominate the dating market in Singapore

We need a high-performing individual who is capable of making big and tough decisions which have a direct impact on expanding our dating business across Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall growth, business development and partnerships with stakeholders, business unit leads and business partners

  • Lead, empower, and mentor your team to bring about growth and development for the offline unit

  • Be accountable for the group’s overall performance and P&L

  • Initiate, manage and oversee the execution of marketing strategies and user growth campaigns

  • Build and lead strategic plans and initiatives to ensure that Paktor is well attuned to industry trends, expansion opportunities, and competitive threats

  • Be Paktor brand ambassador in the market

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in business development fields in B2C Start-up, SME environment
  • Degree or Masters in Business Management / Accountancy / Economics
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken as this candidate is required to liaise with both English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders and partners
  • Strong in Powerpoint, Excel, Canva, Zoom, Google Meet, Mailerlite, Squarespace, etc
  • Solid working experience in marketing/sales/business development in a startup environment would be an added advantage
  • Direct experience in building, leading and inspiring a team
  • Experience doing effective direct sales will be a plus point
  • Experience managing multinational business units and departments with direct responsibility on their financials
  • Have experience developing and executing creative, innovative integrated marketing campaigns that drive positive results in the local market
  • Outstanding networking skills and the ability to make partnerships happen
  • Possess grit, tenacity, and willingness to make things work
