Join Kokku's dynamic team of artists! We're seeking experienced 3D Artists to create premium content for a prestigious tactical shooter. As an artist, you will be responsible for creating various cosmetic elements for characters and weapons released in seasonal passes. You should be an experienced and skilled professional who can guarantee the creation of prime quality assets that can work in a dynamic environment with an open mindset for providing solutions and excellence.

As a 3D Senior Object Artist, you will:

  • Develop and deliver in-game assets following concept art and art direction within technical requirements,
  • Participate actively in establishing benchmarks in technical and visual quality and optimal cost of effort.
  • Collaborate with team members in a constant effort to improve overall quality.
  • Set ambitious personal goals to enhance efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and lead in establishing regulations and standards with the benchmarks.
  • Adapt art direction requirements to styles and pipelines required for the mandate.
  • Act as an example and be a role model for your peers.
  • Create a wide range of objects like hard surface assets and not limited to models such as armour, weapons or, vehicles and organic objects.
  • Create assets with thorough attention to game technical requirements.
  • Create in various styles, from realistic to stylized.
  • Use adaptive techniques to achieve the style target efficiently. (Surface, shaders and textures)

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a 3D modeler in the video game industry.
  • Strong skills and experience in importing and setting 3D models and materials in-game engines.
  • Portfolio showcasing excellence in 3D modeling and texture creation, particularly in military-style assets and weapon design.
  • Proficiency in SubD modeling in Max/Maya and sculpting hard surface assets in Zbrush.
  • Solid understanding of low-poly modeling, retopology, and UV mapping techniques.
  • Experience with texture creation in Substance Painter.
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency in reading and speaking.
