Accounts Receivables Analyst

Roles:

• Conducts regular review and analysis of accounts receivable to arrive at correct disposition, understands the situation and plans / recommends needed action to facilitate faster collection and adjustment of accounts receivable (AR) balances.
• Monitors accounts receivable (AR) balances and sends out Statements of Account (SOA) and confirmation letters to customers informing them of the status of their accounts with GHC.
• Handles reconciliation of accounts with Sales and provides analysis of customer payments and supports in the preparation of requests for credit notes (RFCNs).
• Conducts periodic visits to trade customers to facilitate timely reconciliation and/or payment negotiation to settle hanging accounts receivable concerns.
• Implements remedial measures for delinquent / problematic accounts such as facilitating settlement for returned check incidences, conducting collection calls, sending collection letters and/or endorsing these accounts to Collection agencies / Legal.
• Recommends specific amounts for write off to reflect AR balance net of those deemed as uncollectible despite exerting all possible collection efforts.
• Provides regular updates, reports and presentations for AR Management and Remedial Accounts Management.
• Adheres to the implementation of quality policy, functional objectives, and process goals.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a four (4) year Business-related course preferably Business Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• With two (2) year working experience in the different facets of Credit and Collection and/or Accounts Receivable Reconciliation and / or Remedial Management.
• Knowledgeable in Account Receivables Analysis, Account Reconciliation, Payment Instruments and Negotiation, Sales and Collection Processes and Remedial Management.
