About The Role:

We work on several components of our Antivirus product (Firewall, Web Shield, Mail Shield, Remote Access Shield, Real Site, etc.) and VPN product. The target OS is Windows. Currently, we are looking for an engineer who would be responsible for automated product/feature testing - test case design, development and deployment.

About The Team:

The team responsible for the development of network and security related features in Gen Digital products would like to welcome a new member for full-time.

What You’ll Do In This Role:

• design, development and deployment of automated test cases.
• development of internal tools for testing.
• cooperation with developers on new security features.
• configuration and maintenance of linux servers (Nginx, DNS server, etc.).
• monitoring of current quality/test results and metrics.
• writing documentation.
• manual product testing (when necessary).

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:

• previous professional experience with object-oriented programming.
• previous professional experience in QA - either as test engineer or in automation tooling.
• practical experience with test automation frameworks.
• experienced user of one or more of the following OS’s: Windows, Mac, Linux.

Nice to have:

• previous experience with Python 3, Selenium framework.
• knowledge of TeamCity/Jenkins pipelines, VMware vCenter.
• knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, TLS, QUIC, …).
• previous experience with penetration testing (e.g. port scanning, ARP poisoning/spoofing or more advanced stuff).
• previous experience with a web server, configuration, maintenance (e.g. Nginx, Apache)
