Public Relation Advisor

We are currently expanding Huawei’s public affairs and communications team by seeking a PR advisor with strong interests in ICT & energy sector and motivation to develop in PR area. We look for a candidate with a great can-do attitude and capability to work in a highly international working environment. The PR advisor will work as a valuable member of our small and efficient public affairs and communications team at Huawei Norway.

Role

As a PR advisor, you will coordinate both internal and external implementation of high-quality and localized communications strategy and assist the senior team members in public affairs and communication team for corporate-level communications.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong and high-quality communications skills in at least Norwegian & English. Chinese is a merit.

This position is located in Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities

Coordinate PR events, social media, communications with external organizations, NGOs, PR firms etc.

Assist senior team members in building relationship with external stakeholders from regulatory, industrial, environmental, media, think tanks, etc.

Implement PR events and Social Value Project as project manager role to ensure that the communications and local CSR strategy is implemented as planned

Handle internal quality & assurance matters in Purchasing Orders / Requests, Sponsorship etc.

Desired skills and experience

Degree from relevant subjects e.g. marketing, business, media, communications, political science, ICT, energy etc.

Previous PR experience is not a must but the candidate should demonstrate solid passions for public affairs and communications

The candidate must demonstrate very strong capabilities in project management, attention to details, and communications skills

Interest in telecom and green transformation is a plus

Creativity, accountability, self-motivation, result-oriented and a great can-do attitude is preferred to be carried by the candidate

Ability to cope with high pressure and meet multiple concurrent deadlines

Strong understanding of Chinese culture, and respect for diverse cultures in a truly international working environment.

Note: This position is a project based position, the contract will be signed with our third-party HR agency.
