QA Tester

Badger Maps is a route planning software for field salespeople that dramatically improves operations through route optimization, smart scheduling, CRM integration, and other cool features!

Badger Maps is currently expanding operations rapidly, and we are seeking talented individuals to take part in our Quality Assurance team!

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience working as a QA Tester or in a similar role
• Knowledge and understanding of IT Quality Assurance testing concepts, applications, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with Software Test planning and execution, collaborating directly with the development team
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Sharp eye for detail, with excellent communication, and documentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus
• Experience in automation testing tools is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills
• Availability for Spanish labor hours - 2pm to 12am (PH time)

What to expect:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate effective strategies for thorough application testing
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, usability, non-functional, and post-release testing, across web and mobile applications.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and application functionalities, integrating them into the planning, requirement definition, and design phases of new software products and features, with a focus on ensuring testability
• Develop, improve, execute, and document both manual and automated test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
• Identify and document discovered bugs, defects, and issues during testing.
• Actively contribute to the establishment of testing processes, guidelines, and best practices.
• Create detailed logs to document testing phases and any detected defects
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting issues as needed
