Position Summary:

This customer-facing role requires an individual who is analytical, curious, and loves telling stories with data. You are a trusted advisor to Life Sciences customers and will lead complex engagements from population design to real-world data and insight delivery via dashboards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Understand Real-World Data Needs: Comprehend data requirements of Life Sciences customers that involve complex biological and medical contexts.
  2. Align Capabilities with Customer Needs: Align Diaceutics’ capabilities to customer needs driving organic account growth.
  3. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data from various real-world data sources, drawing meaningful conclusions for customers.
  4. Interactive Dashboards: Contextualize data, making it accessible and actionable for customers, through dashboard or platform utilization.
  5. Customer Engagement: Facilitate customer sessions using data and dashboards to query Diaceutics’ data and answer in-the-moment questions and hypotheses.
  6. Collect Success Stories: Contribute to showcasing the impact of Diaceutics’ data and solutions through case study collection.
  7. Solve Complex Problems: Simplify intricate problems by distilling relevant information and presenting it in a clear, concise manner using Diaceutics’ data.
  8. Translate Data Needs: Act as intermediary, translating real-world data needs between internal teams and customers.
  9. Storytelling with Data: Utilize data and visualizations to answer customer’s business questions and demonstrate the value of Diaceutics’ offerings.
  10. Be the Voice of the Customer: Advocate for customer perspectives and ensure the scope and delivery aligns with customer needs and expectations.

Key Attributes Required:

  • Knowledge : Real-world data caveats, challenges, and its uses in Life Sciences industry
  • Specialist Skills : Scoping populations with real-world data and applying analytics and rules to answer Life Sciences’ customer business questions.
  • People Skills: Required to navigate both internal and external matrix organizations.
  • Customer Service: External facing, commercially minded candidates to achieve customer delight, ensure quality engagements, and to generate repeat business.
  • Decision Making: Ability to leverage internal tools and industry knowledge to meet customer needs while being good stewards of Diaceutics’ resources.
  • Initiative and Independence: Self-starter required. Applicants must anticipate customer needs, plan according to Life Science pipelines, see the big picture, and attempt new and innovative ways to engage customers.

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:

  • Education – bachelor’s degree in analytics, informatics, epidemiology, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a scientific field (PhD, MSc or MBA preferred)
  • Experience – 7-10 years experience utilizing US claims data required; experience with other real-world data (diagnostic, EHR, pharmacy).
  • Experience – Working in or consulting with Life Science companies, required.
  • Computer and software knowledge and skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required. Experience using dashboard platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI or similar), required. Experience using project and knowledge management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar), required. Exposure to programming languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python, XML, JavaScript), preferred.
