Accounts Assistant

**What will your typical day involve?

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll dive into the exciting world of financial operations, managing bank transactions, payments, and reconciliation. But there's more – you'll also help create a positive work culture and support our continuous improvement journey.

Your Impact:

• Handle daily Bankline transactions, weekly banking, and Direct Debits.
• Maintain bank mandates, online profiles, and ensure suppliers are paid promptly.
• Be the go-to person for all banking-related questions, inside and outside the organisation.
• Identify and tackle control system issues to fortify our asset protection.
• Manage cash holdings, reconcile income, and assist in crafting insightful ad hoc reports.
• Support in resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Play a key role in year-end accounts and audits.
• Provide support within the team and flex your skills as needed.

**Who are we looking for?

• Qualifications: Good education, AAT or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience: Experience with Aqilla or similar accounting software, building relationships, cash and bank functions, reconciling accounts, care or charity sector (desirable).
• Skills: Transaction processing, organisational skills, customer service, communication, Microsoft Office, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Attributes: Quick decision-making, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, adaptability, and values alignment.
