The Business Performance & Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in collecting, processing, performing statistical analyses and identifying improvements on different data sets we have here at Paydock.

The role will help define and support the implementation of the data & analytics strategy at Paydock. Additionally, the role will support and lead multiple data initiatives across the organization.

How you will make an impact:

  • Data Analytics & Strategy

  • Data & Analytics Strategy: Help develop and implement the data & analytics strategy that will align against the Paydock Strategy framework

  • Data Projects Management: Lead and contribute to data projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering actionable insights.

  • Data Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business to understand data requirements, including commercial objectives, and assist in prioritizing these requirements effectively.

  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate any insights and findings from the data to various stakeholders - ensuring that any findings are visualized and understandable through different charts and dashboards etc

  • Engineering / Operational Performance

  • DORA Metrics: Manage and ensure DORA metrics are completed and accurate, help identify improvements and work with Business Operational Change to help identify where improvements can be made.

  • Engineering Performance: Identity where performance metrics in engineering can be automated. Where not feasible ensuring any manual data collection tasks are accurate and complete.

  • Data Quality Management: Utilize tools like Jira to monitor and address data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability (i.e. work type ratio, research & development)

  • Internal Metrics Focus: Maintain a strong internal focus on metrics related to project delivery and performance, providing insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Collaboration / Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage and communicate with various stakeholder groups internal and external.

  • Collaborative working with the Business Operational Change Lead to support any data analysis / coaching and help improve operational / engineering processes

  • Support the BAU operations function with the use of data / coaching to ensure the smooth running of the organization

  • Tools & Technologies

  • Google Sheets / Slides / Suite SME: Demonstrate excellent proficiency in Google Sheets / Slides to manipulate and analyze data efficiently, automating data that gets populated and automating across the Google suite.
