About the role and why itโs unique:
- Operations Management: Create and oversee daily schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage, optimize operational efficiency, and manage core sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, NHL, CFB, CBB)
- In-Game Pick'em and Offering Development: Lead the in-game pick'em processes, curate and expand pick'em offerings, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user experience and engagement
- KPI Analysis and Reporting: Understand, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across all pick'em sports to drive data-informed decisions and strategic improvements
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and manage junior staff, implement training programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning to build expertise in the fantasy sports business and live market coverage
- Cross-Department Collaboration and User Feedback Integration: Work closely with other departments to align strategies, gather and incorporate user feedback, and stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive and innovative platform
Who you are:
- A sports fanatic (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Soccer, Golf, UFC, Racing, Tennis, eSports & more) who is knowledgeable about DFS and Fantasy sports
- An analytical mindset and deep knowledge of multiple sports but specifically tennis
- 3+ years of experience managing a team in the sports gaming industry
- Commitment to being a true team player
- Ability to work nights and weekends around the sports calendar with a flexibility around the NFL and NBA calendar
- Interest in sports betting
Even better if you have:
- Prior gaming/sports betting experience with proven track record
- Prior startup experience
- Data skills / SQL
- Ability to work West Coast hours
- Experience and Expertise with the NBA
Our targeted compensation rate for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000, depending on experience, plus equity. Think your skills are exceptional and warrant higher pay? Apply anyway! If we agree, we're willing to negotiate.
