Assistant Manager - Business Intelligence

The candidate will play an important role in the overall Strategy function by leading multiple business intelligence projects and driving critical decision making efforts of the various business units through accurate and timely data reporting and analyses. He/she will oversee development of high quality reports and dashboards utilizing multiple data streams that would cater to different business requirements and act as a data custodian for strategy and business teams.

What will you do?

• Lead and supervise the design of BI solution(s) to address one or more business problems such as Ad sales, TV and Digital viewership, etc.
• Work with the team and the business users to develop & execute the required diagnostics, data models & visualizations for the above solution(s)
• Brainstorm to define metrics and key performance indicators for different business units based on the requirements
• Interact with the Business and external stakeholders during the entire development lifecycle of the BI solutions
• Provide support to the business teams on deployed dashboard solutions, when needed
• Mentor new joinees and interns in the team on the business and data processes

Who should apply for this role?

• Candidates with 3+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service) or a related tool (Tableau etc.)
• Working knowledge of DAX, M querying, custom visualization creation, APIs
• Strong quantitative aptitude and good communication
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, VBA, and Python
• Ability to lead a project/team and able to guide team members on technical issues
