About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and accelerate growth. This is a hands-on role where you will own and execute key marketing functions across brand development, product marketing, growth marketing, and communications. This position is perfect for a visionary strategy-meets-creative leader with a deep understanding of B2B marketing and a proven track record of developing and executing innovative and creative marketing campaigns across channels. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing successful marketing B2B strategies and experience successfully navigating complex sales cycles and government relations. They should also be capable of rolling up their sleeves and diving into the tactical execution of marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership including Business Development, Product, and Design to shape revenue goals.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy, shaping marketing and partnership objectives and priorities to support company growth.
  • Oversee all marketing functions including brand marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, communications, and identify additional marketing needs to build capacities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure individual and team success. Foster a collaborative and results-driven marketing culture.

Brand Management:

  • Refine the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.
  • Build brand awareness and credibility through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and communications efforts. Establish a strong presence in our space among key stakeholders and entities.
  • Plan and execute events and conferences to showcase the company's expertise and build brand awareness.
  • Measure and analyze event ROI to optimize future events and maximize impact.

Product Marketing and Sales Enablement:

  • Collaborate with the product team to develop compelling messaging and positioning.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies for existing and new products.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to drive and nurture qualified leads.
  • Conduct and socialize market research and competitive analysis to inform product marketing initiatives.

Marketing Content Planning and Execution:

  • Create and manage the marketing content plan including creation and distribution of high-quality content, including blog posts, positioning papers, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Plan, implement, and measure the effectiveness of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including: website, social media, SEO, growth marketing and email, public relations (PR), and communications.

Data Analysis and Budget Optimization:

  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. Manage the marketing budget effectively and allocate resources to maximize ROI.

The Experience You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in health, government, or technology industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA preferred.
  • Skills: experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies, managing budgets and optimizing marketing ROI, strong leadership and team building skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data to inform data-driven decisions, experience with various marketing channels and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with various marketing functions, including product marketing, brand development, growth marketing, and communications.
  • Strategic thinker, results oriented, collaborative, creative problem solver, self-starter, adaptable.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $170,000 to $200,000

The base salary offered is determined by several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications or professional licenses, and geographic location where the job will be performed. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include any bonus, equity, or benefits.

Total compensation package also includes performance bonus and stock options. Final compensation will vary based on experience and various other factors.
