We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will be partnering with key stakeholders outside of finance to provide financial leadership and support. The role will be focused on finance business partnering with key business units in the Group to understand the drivers of margin results and identify opportunities for growth.

What you'll do as a Finance Business Partner:

  • Work closely the senior stakeholders to undertake analysis, monitor the business strategy, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use data, insights and reporting to provide continual business improvement to facilitate profitable growth
  • Develop insight and understanding of business model and its drivers to provide future planning and recommendations
  • Scenario analysis and preparing new business cases including the preparation of capex proposals, monitor spend and complete post project reviews
  • Preparing models and margin analysis to support impact on business decisions and development of targets and calculation of monthly sales commissions
  • Reporting of monthly Margin analysis and provide commentaries for variance between actuals and budget or forecast
  • Involvement in Budgeting and forecasting cycles as well as providing insightful analysis of monthly performance including continued development of leading indicator insight

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial role in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA or CPA or equivalent qualified
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting or finance business partnering
  • Experience developing and presenting analytical findings to stakeholders
  • Financial modelling experience to identify new business opportunities and provide recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to interpret and report financial information to support decision making and business performance
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in developing and maintaining strategic working relationships
  • Strong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables and complex formulas are a minimum), experience with PowerPoint presentations and BI tools
  • Curiosity to learn, be open minded and ready to challenge the norm
