Quality Engineer

NXP is looking for a Quality Engineer to support Customer/Data Inquiries.

The Quality department as part of the NXP Advanced Analog Business Line is looking to further strengthen our team via the addition of a Quality Engineer who will be located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Amongst multi-field teams, you will be in charge of the review, tracking, support and reporting of Customer Quality and Data requests for Product Lines IVN [In-Vehicle Networking], PL-HPA [High Performance Analog] and PL-SFI [Smart Front Ends & Interfaces].

Responsibilities of the position will include the following:

• Review, tracking and support of Customer Requests.
• Product Qualification Information Package (PQIP): Create new PQIPs. Reviews existing PQIPs for any changes and updates accordingly.
• PPAP reviews: Create new PPAPs, Reviews existing PPAPs for any changes and updates accordingly.
• Customer questionnaires / surveys / data requests: Provides inputs to requests either directly or based on inputs and alignment with other disciplines/factory counter parts. e.g. FIT requests, PID (Packing Information Requests), Reliability data (Front End/Back End/Test locations, Materials), Industrialization inputs, Product level self-audits and/or data inquiries.
• Coordinate data collection from other groups (local and/or remote disciplines as dependent on the content of the request). Interfaces may include, but are not limited to: Marketing, Package Innovation, Assembly, Test, Front End, Sustainability, Corporate Quality Systems group

Qualifications;

• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of Engineering work in the Semiconductor Industry.

• Knowledge of the Semiconductor process with a focus on the Assembly and Back End activities.

• Fluent English language skills are mandated in order to perform the role effectively.

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical people.

• Must have the ability to work across a variety of global time zones.

• Experience in MS Office tools.

• Preferred Experience/Knowledge of various Industry Standards used in the Semiconductor industry (e.g. AEC, JEDEC, ISO).

• Auditor experience is a plus.
