Project Manager

Our client, a leading player in the over-the-top video streaming industry, is seeking a

Technical Manager to lead and manage the team to develop the corporate site and

other web projects.

They are seeking a motivated individual who will act as a project manager for their

mobile, web, and front-end development processes, managing system development to

fulfil various requests while maintaining effective communication with business

stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead and manage the development team within the Front-end Development domains (both Mobile & Web), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Employ agile methodologies to iterate rapidly, respond to user feedback, and continuously improve both mobile and web platforms.
• Understand and champion the principles of stream-aligned teams, ensuring that workflows are optimized for maximum efficiency and minimal handoffs.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and setting appropriate expectations.
• Monitor project progress, anticipate potential roadblocks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks.

What you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the web, mobile, and/or front-end development domains.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to foster an agile mindset within the team, especially in the face of difficulties.
• Familiarity with the concept of streams, stream-aligned teams, and the Team Topologies model.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects with multiple dependencies.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent in using Jira for project tracking and management.
