To keep pace with the rate of electrification and renewable energy expansion we need to be installing 10 MW of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) every other week until 2030. Multiply that figure by 10 when considering wider Europe.

At Stella Futura, we aim to address these challenges and ensure Sweden's energy supply for the future. We achieve this by designing, owning, and operating BESS facilities across Sweden and the Nordics. Rooted in engineering expertise, focusing on financial innovation and flexible commercial solutions, we pioneer new modern energy infrastructure across the country.

About the Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions and integrations including data flow, analysis and security.
• Work closely with our team of system engineers and other stakeholders to gather, interpret and decipher requirements to define software specifications.
• Ensure the optimisation of software performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Coordinate activities between internal and external resources managing relationships and communication between various stakeholders.
• Plan and execute software testing and piloting programmes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications.

Who We're Seeking:

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronic/Electrical Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience of running software development projects
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Python, C++, Pandas, Tableau)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and IoT technologies.
• Knowledge of energy and/or battery systems is of merit.
• Good verbal and written command of English is essential. Proficiency in Swedish is of merit.
