Junior Procurement Specialist

Axpo Bulgaria is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Specialist to support our Procurement Team with contract order invoicing, supplier, and system administration, as well as market data administration. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop deeper knowledge and skills in the field of procurement.

What you will do:

• Manage and maintain supplier contracts, particularly for IT and Professional Services and market data, in collaboration with the Procurement Team in Bulgaria and Procurement Managers in Switzerland.
• Confirm needs of internal stakeholders and conduct compliance checks.
• Identify potential for cost optimization.
• Create spend reports and conduct spend analysis.
• Document processes and work instructions.
• Handle administrative management of contracts, invoices, offers, and related systems.
• Support the demand contract renewal and digital signature process.
• Assist controlling and accounting departments with invoicing and payments.
• Process requisitions and other supplier-related tasks in SAP and Ariba.

What you bring & who you are:

• A technical or business management education with a university or college degree.
• 1+ years of professional working experience
• Proficiency in office applications (databases, workflow tools, Excel, etc.).
• Strong advantage if experienced in SAP and Ariba.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with an analytical approach and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, ability for multitasking
• Self-management and problem solving skills
• Proactiveness
• Fluent in English
• German is an advantage
