Stand Together seeks a Project Manager to lead the execution of multiple concurrent direct mailings and communications to active donors and prospects in a multi-brand organization. This role is an exciting opportunity to flex your strong project management and vendor management skills in support of ambitious growth goals. You’ll collaborate with internal copywriters, the direct marketing team, vendors, and fundraisers to create customer-focused and effective messaging strategies. You’ll be responsible for all direct mail projects, working with outside production vendors and creative agencies.

The role requires strong self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, ownership of outcomes, and exceptional proofreading skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager or operations/systems-minded individual, who is eager to think creatively and who has an entrepreneurial attitude to support the team in innovating to improve response and engagement.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Manage efforts to assemble and execute multiple, high-value, concurrent cultivation and event mailings produced internally from start to finish that advance the organization’s goals
• Establish and manage schedules for recurring and ad hoc mailings, setting timelines and deadlines to drive progress
• Send daily thank you letters to high-value donors
• Engage and manage multiple internal and external vendors
• Proof and prepare final artwork, collaborating with internal communications and creative teams
• Review and approve all edits, letter writers, and mailable samples once product is approved by internal partners
• Proactively offer new and innovative ways to improve the mailing designs and pitches

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

• 2+ years of professional experience with hands-on, high-value cultivation project management
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word, specifically utilizing mail merge
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Self-motivated, organized team player with a high sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Passion for delivering top-notch donor cultivation and stewardship
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with the utmost discretion
• Familiarity with Salesforce preferred but not required
