Currency Management Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Successfully learn OptiCash and related tools to:

• Maintain the OptiCash parameters/settings of the cash points managed in order to avoid cashouts and/or high returns
• Maintain the forecast performance of each cash point for which they are responsible to determine how to improve the accuracy of the forecast
• Modify demographic and parametric information about cash points in the system
• Add / delete cash points from the system
• Proactively seek information needed to improve the accuracy of the forecast
• Provide Level 1 support (how-to questions) to the agents in the center and the rest of the region, if applicable
• Provide Level 2 support (basic operational processes that are not working correctly) for all systems in the region, if applicable
• Work with the Technology Consultant in identifying and reporting system level problems to the ITS support organization
• May carry a supervisory role for agents in the center

In addition to the duties listed, the Senior Operator / Analyst may also be given the following OptiCash administrative responsibilities:

• Submitting forms to ITS personnel in the Global Processing Center (Dayton) to add new users to the global server and CTS logins for new customer’s data files
• Copying and moving proper folders and data files to add new customers on the global and / or any local servers, if applicable
• Managing customer access to OptiNet functionality
• Tasks / Timelines
• Task Order

Reporting Required by SLA

• Daily Reporting (Recommendations) Daily
• Performance Reporting (utilization, cashouts, etc.) First week of each month

Maintain Forecast

• Run forecast
• Include / exclude history
• Adjust forecast demand parameter Second week of each month

Maintain Parameters

• Safety Stock
• Adjust Recommendations
• Pre-Service Percentage Third week of each month

Maintain Event-Settings

Others

• Denomination Order Split
• Customer requests (includes IMAC)
• Etc. Fourth week of each month

Key Hiring Criteria

• Requires good writing skills and good telephone skills
• Experience with personal computer and Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated writing and verbal skills
• Undergraduate degree in a technical / analytical field or related experience
• Experience with a bank or armored car company in cash management, branch operations, or cash operations is preferred
• Negotiation skills preferred
• Above average performance as an OptiCash agent
• Experience with creating and executing SAS queries and generating SAS reports
• Supervisory experience is preferred if this will be a requirement in the center
