Strategy Manager

Job Description

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the company’s long-term goals. Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats. Provide actionable insights.
• Financial Analysis: Reviewing financial performance of companies, support in capital raising initiatives and ultimate listing of the company.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial performance, effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Regularly report on progress and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects from conception to completion. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies with business goals. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation plans.
• Budget Management: Involve in the budgeting process including overseeing the budget for strategic projects and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization. Encourage the development of new ideas and approaches to business challenges.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and various stakeholders to pitch, communicate strategy progress and outcomes. Support in investor relation matters and presentations.
• Able to assist on ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry, airline operations, regulations, and market dynamics will be an added advantage

Skill-set

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Possess excellent attention to detail.
• Financial Skills: Strong understanding of financials ie P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow to review performance of companies and to support the fund raising as well as listing process.
• Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
• Computer Skills: Familiarity with software and tools for data analysis, modeling, and presentation, ie G-Suites, MS Office. Ability to prepare professional presentations for internal and external stakeholders is non-negotiable.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong business acumen and understanding of aviation industry dynamics. Constantly reading and researching on latest industry trends to share with senior management.
