Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is looking for a Digital Art Director who is confident in the world of digital. The primary responsibility would involve working alongside a Copywriter to develop interesting, market-fit and campaign-able concepts for omnichannel communication (e.g. websites/landing pages/ email/social media). The ideas should excite and delight the target audience, while being relevant to the specific industry/s and its varying topics/departments. A key part of the role workflow will also be to demonstrate how the ideas come to life visually, before a Designer takes it over to polish it to perfection.

What you will do:

  • Working as part of a conceptual team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing concepts for social media and CRM, developing persuasive, compelling ideas that motivate and inspire the target to take a desired action.
  • Ideate for different audiences, and craft ideas for a variety of disciplines, including direct, digital, loyalty, promotional and instructional.
  • Take a conceptual brief (campaign/innovation) from concept, through to final execution.
  • Familiarise with the different disciplines involved in digital transformation (e.g. CRM/UX/IA/UI/Data/FE/BE).
  • Package an idea in a format that safely guides a client through the potential complexity.
  • Present your thinking to clients with confidence and comfort.
  • Conceptualise new and innovative solutions that are based on simple insights.
  • Understand at a high-level, how those solutions come to life (e.g. user-journeys/integration/development).
  • Craft the final product of an idea/campaign to go-live readiness.
  • Ability to solve problems in real-time and effectively.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Must be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients' products or services.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should work well in a team and with a range of creative people.
  • Must work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and well organised.
  • Ability to see other people's points of view and take on board feedback.
  • Ability to work within strict budgets.
  • Must have an eye for detail.
  • Possess good leadership, people and project management skills.
  • Technical know-how, a DIY attitude, high EQ and good communication skills.
  • Financial industry experience (advantageous).
  • A good understanding of both Office and iWork.
  • An impressive portfolio for review.
  • Excellent Photoshop skills.
  • Good understanding of Figma.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
