**Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company has an exciting expatriate opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager (Level L). This position is for a long-term expatriate assignment in Zhoushan, China at the Boeing Zhoushan Completion Center, a joint venture between The Boeing Company and Commercial Aviation Corporation of China (COMAC).

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to Boeing’s China market strategy to strengthen our relationships in China and increase our competitiveness and market share. An opportunity to develop your career in an exciting environment while leading a team of people providing a critical function supporting the MRO activity in the completion center in Zhoushan China.

This is a Long-Term Expatriate Assignment for up to 3 years, with primary location in Renton, WA, assignment location in Zhoushan, China. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintaining the Aircraft Inspection Program for interior completion, paint, and flight line operations.
• Maintaining a personnel qualification evaluation system and authorizing the qualified personnel in writing.
• Maintaining a supplier evaluation system and providing oversight of approved suppliers.
• Maintaining supervision of all steps in quality management system to ensure the timely analysis, evaluation, and settlement of maintenance quality problems.
• Being responsible for internal quality and supplier audit programs.
• Being in charge of the revision and management of the Repair Station Manual and Working Procedures; and to supervise the appropriate implementation.
• Maintaining contact with the Regulatory Authorities and providing timely reporting on important circumstance found during the process of maintenance work.
• Being responsible for coordinating audits by the FAA/CAAC and other external agencies.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and teaming skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure with a flexible approach.
• Be able to identify issues, problems and opportunities.
• Be able to self-manage and establish work procedures and standards to achieve a high level of productivity.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Must be willing and able to support a multi-year Expat assignment in Zhoushan, China
• 5+ years of working in a Quality organization
• 5+ years of experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
• 5+ years as a manager of direct reports is required
• 5+ years of experience working with Regulatory authorities and regulations.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• MRO Experience working at an 145 Repair Station (FAA/CAAC/EASA)
• Experience in working with FAR's/CAR's regulations
• Previous experience working across organizations, time zones and cultures
• Current FAA A&P and/or CAAC License
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus

Long-term Assignment details:

• Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
• Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
• Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
