About the role
As a QA Analyst, your day to day will include working closely with our engineering, product and design teams to shift QA process left in the SDLC and spot potential edge cases during the design and spec phases of product development. We utilize the agile methodology by participating in daily standups, story time, pointing, and retrospectives to improve our development process and ensure quality standards are applied at all points in the feature development lifecycle. We also work collaboratively outside of these squads as a QA cohort to improve our documentation, communication, and education processes.
How youโll spend your time:
- Participate in the scrum process by being an active participant in stand up, story time, retrospective, and other scrum ceremonies.
- As part of Engineering, collaborate with Developer and Product teams to ensure the delivery of high quality product experiences to users.
- Work closely with our internal users and stakeholders to replicate issues and deliver consistent progress updates when issues arise.
- Become an expert on the LogicGate product and understand high-impact user flows to help inform your test approach.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop test acceptance criteria for new feature development during design and scoping.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of high quality test cases for functional stories.
- Be an advocate for quality best practices at LogicGate.
- Collaborate with fellow QA analysts to work on documentation as well as other QA roadmap initiatives to improve our processes
- Work closely with engineering, product and design to shift the QA process left in the software development life cycle
We get excited about you if you have:
- 2+ years experience with a technical team in a QA (or similar) role
- Experience working in GRC or a similar arena
- You have strong manual testing skills and experience testing both front end and back end features.
- You care deeply about getting the details right in order to ship a great product.
- You have a passion for software and have a thorough understanding of how web apps work and general understanding of APIs.
- You have experience developing and executing functional and regression test plans.
- You have history working in an agile environment and championing QA best practices.
- You have previous experience working with Test Rail or other test case writing software and have delivered functional test cases for features.

The anticipated base salary range for the role is $63,000 - $78,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits. Actual salaries may vary and will be based on factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Internal candidates who have current pay within or above the hiring range are still encouraged to apply if interested.
