The Chapter Lead role will see you report directly to the Crew Tech Lead Content Services, which is part of the wider Ops and Tech Corp Services division. You will drive quality engineering across the group by uplifting our ability to deliver products to our customers in a timelier manner and develop robust and high-quality scalable frameworks.

• Build, lead, and inspire an engaged team of Quality and Automation Engineers.
• Offer expertise across a variety of testing solutions including but not limited to; performance, NFT, A11y, API, automation, cloud, end-to-end testing processes and defect management.
• Enable shift-left in everything you do.
• Enhance performance engineering capability by embedding framework in our code pipeline.
• Can empower the team to manage their work appropriately, promote a culture of continuous learning and ensure reward for effort
• Able to provide effective coaching to engineers and establish mechanisms for peer-to-peer learning and mentoring.
• Understand each unique sets of skills team members possess and provide personalised feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, risk, and product

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

• Test Levels: Automation testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, cloud testing, defect management.
• Programming/Scripting Languages (Any Language): C#, .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Testing Tools: Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TOSCA, DevTest, QTP, SahiPro, Protractor, SOAP UI.
• Security/Quality Engineering Tooling: Selenium Grid, Blazemeter, SonarQube, Snyk, Testing Virtualization frameworks.
• API Testing: Rest Assured, Postman.
• Performance Testing: JMeter, Blazemeter.
• Frameworks: BDD, TDD.
• CI/CD: GitHub actions, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Codebuild, Code Pipeline.
• Cloud: AWS (Preferred), Azure.
• Engineering Productivity Tools: Jira, Confluence.
• Container Technology: Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS.
• Database: SQL, NoSQL.
