Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chapter Lead, Data Analytics to join our team. In this critical role, you will spearhead our data analytics initiatives, driving insights and strategies that enhance our decision-making processes and deliver tangible business value. You will lead a talented team of data professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy: Define and contribute to the data analytics capability uplift strategy, aligning with CBA’s business objectives and technological advancements.
Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Advanced Analytics: Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytical models and methodologies to solve complex business problems.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Technology, finance to drive data-driven decision-making across the business.
Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating cutting-edge analytics techniques to enhance our capabilities.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure data analytics processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8 years in data analytics or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Athena, SageMaker), data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and big data technologies.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analytics initiatives with organisational goals.
