Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance

The Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance will oversee Nexoom's financial strategy, manage relationships with investors, and ensure effective communication of the company’s financial performance and strategy to stakeholders.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investor relations. The key characteristics will be a strong communicator and analytical mindset.

Investor Relations

• Develop and implement investor relations strategies to enhance the company’s image and reputation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and the financial community.
• Prepare and present financial reports, earnings releases, and other communications to investors.
• Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
• Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights to senior management.

Corporate Finance

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
• Lead M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Leadership and Collaboration

• Collaborate with the executive team to align financial and corporate strategies.
• Work closely with internal departments to gather relevant information and ensure consistency in external communications.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Master's degree in Finance / Economics or similar qualification
• Coming from investment banking and with tech/entertainment sector experience
• 6+ years of experience in Switzerland in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
• Good understanding of financial markets (public & private) and compliance
• Proven track record of successful investor relations and financial strategy development.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and team management skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organized and the ability to prioritize tasks
• An ambitious individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, German language skills a plus
