What will you do?
- Drive delivery of market and customer requirements, including definition, prioritization, trade-offs, and execution of release goals.
- Be the internal product evangelist and a sought after internal and external market expert and ensures that solutions meet user and business requirements.
- Ensure acceptance criteria are met with current release and conducting sprint reviews from a business/customer perspective.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer usage, competitor products, and market trends, and translate that intelligence into detailed product requirements for product enhancements and/or new product development.
- Work with Agile Scrum teams, including software developers and testers, to develop user stories and keep a product backlog.
- Manage the business metrics of the product (bookings, revenue, margin, gross retention), supplying recommendations to improve the commercial performance of our products and ensure financial goals are met.
- Design and drive the product roadmap and portfolio for both short- and long-term growth by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Execute new product launch plans, partnering with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to provide product education, demonstrations, and expertise to internal and external customers.
- Drive and support ongoing sales and customer education and communication programs to ensure full understanding of product features, benefits and comparisons to competitive products and promote value-based selling propositions.
- Leverage external partnerships and innovative technologies to improve speed to market.
- Form internal partnerships with other insightsoftware business units.

Requirements
Skills Required:
- Experience with equity plan management software
- Experience with financial reporting or accounting
- Experience with software development practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Lean) and tools
- Proven ability to negotiate a backlog with engineers and senior leadership
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- 2+ years of experience in B2B software Product Management, Marketing, or in a related area with commercial responsibilities
- Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related degree and 2+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner in a software business or other related business
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ year experience, we will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related 1 year of previously stated experience
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities and make critical decisions
- Beneficial Certifications: Pragmatic Marketing or CSPO
- Experience in partnering with Product Marketing to commercialize product offerings is preferred
- Experience in partnering with UX teams to design usable, accessible solutions will be beneficial
