Circuit Design Engineer

Role Summary:

Circuit Design / IO Design / Mixed Signal Design , doing reviews of designs, guiding junior designers , etc.

Job Responsibility:

• Circuit design / Transistor Level Design: Design of Ios comprising of driver design, receiver designs, adhering to ESD guidelines, etc. Defining Architecture for IO sub-circuits.
• IO Design: Design of GPIOs , MFIO, IIC, LVDS and special protocol based IO s. Facilitating the ESD reviews with the ESD Team.
• Mixed Signal Design: Doing transistor level design for the IO s, Schematic capture , laying layout guidelines, etc
• Guiding , Mentoring: Guiding and mentoring the junior designers.
• Doing design reviews (peer reviews) , Making datasheets
• Taking part in innovation / Filing Patents: Filing IDs and following up with patent committee, etc.
• Guiding Layout engineers: Guiding layout engineers with the dos and don’ts of layouts, matching, current capability , etc.

Job Qualification:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech

• 2 to 10 years experience in Circuit design / Transistor level design

• Well versed with CMOS Circuit designs

• GPIO / LVDS / USB / Special protocol based IO design

• Basic understanding of ESD

• Good understanding of device physics

• Experience in Cadence / AMS Environment / Simulations / Layouts

• Understanding of deep submicron technologies / Fin FET
