Senior UI Designer

Our team is on a mission to transform our enterprise headset and meeting room device business with great digital services as an integral part of what it means to be a Jabra user or customer.

We are looking for an experienced UI designer to take responsibility for great UI across our digital solutions alongside developing and expanding our design system. You will be part of an ambitious UX team that aims to be one of the best UX teams in Warsaw with great opportunities to grow professionally and a great place to work. You will also work with Product Owners and Developers to make sure that future needs are supported with concepts and implementable design.

You are a passionate human being who loves turning complex concepts and technical structures into beautiful, simple, and user-friendly experiences. You are a real team player, working closely together with the UX team, and engineering teams in Poland and Denmark.

Together with your team and stakeholders, you ensure consistency and efficiency in the field of UX Design, UI Design and Front-End Design.

As a UI designer at Jabra you report to the Head of Digital UX and Experience Design. You will be part of the Experience Product Management team together with Experience and Software Product Managers, Experience designers and Digital UX. The Experience Product Management team is a hybrid team, with product management and experience design centered in Copenhagen and Digital UX centered in Warsaw.

Qualifications:

• You have 5+ years of digital design experience

• Work with Design System would require close collaboration with engineers, taking care of Design Tokens, reviewing Story Book with code, following the strategy of how to implement the Design System

• You have a solid and diverse desktop and mobile design track record and have the portfolio to prove it

• Your skills are backed up with a relevant degree within academia

• You are resourceful in addressing design-related complexities and finding elegant solutions

• You have experience in developing and expanding design systems

• You have a great eye for stunning designs and can work within product constraints

• You can collaborate closely with design, development, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of your designs, fostering a unified and consistent user experience

• You are driven, able to work independently and as part of a team

• You love solving complex problems

• You are eager to stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure your designs remain up-to-date and relevant

• You have experience working in Agile / Scrum development

• You have excellent English skills – spoken as well as written

• You have hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of Figma

• You might have a basic proficiency in coding languages (HTML, CSS, etc.) to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with development teams

• You might have strong analytical skills to identify design challenges, propose innovative solutions, and make data-informed design decisions

• Most important – you are a team player and a good and empathetic colleague

It’s a bonus if you:

• Have a desire to mentor less experienced designers

• Can facilitate design workshops with the team

• Have experience with stakeholder management on high and low levels.
