Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analyst support to your assigned business group
  • Learn financial and ERP systems deployed within the Group and learn group internal control systems and support improvement initiatives
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement
  • Support general finance activities including but not limited to, account reconciliations, monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, financial underwriting, what-if analysis, budget process, and other activities as assigned
  • US International Tax Compliance – including but not limited to assisting with the preparation of Freudenberg’s annual US International tax filings (Forms 1042, 1120F, 8990-8993, 5471, 5472), perform an analytic review of the HFM data pulls, work within Thompson Reuters’ OneSource tax software to facilitate electronic tax filings. And an analysis of cross-border payments for US international tax reporting (e.g., services, interest, dividends, royalties, sale of goods).
  • US Federal and State Tax compliance – including but not limited to assisting with the preparation of Freudenberg’s US Federal and State tax filings. Analysis of US Federal book to tax adjustments, preparation of US tax depreciation, and the preparation of state income tax apportionment.
  • Work experience or an education in Tax is a plus, but not required. Training will occur on the job and facilitated by members of the FRCCNA’s tax function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
  • 6+ months of practical finance experience through internships or academic projects
  • Good knowledge of financial tools such as Excel, SAP or Hyperion Financial Management
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural context
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
