Responsibilities:

  • Approach the business partner role with a strategic mindset driving toward best practice solutions, thinking ahead, and anticipating the future needs of the business. Manage projects as determined in the annual strategic planning process; participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to address and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing HR guidance and best practices on topics such as coaching, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation strategy, recruiting and workforce planning, training and career development, disciplinary actions/terminations, organizational restructures, and the appropriate application of company policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Partner with the Director of HR and/or legal department as needed/required.
  • Participate in the development of Human Resources programs and ensure smooth operations of all employee processes and functions in coordination with Shared Services, including assimilation of new employees, talent management, recruitment, performance and compensation management, employee recognition, benefits administration, and the annual talent and compensation review process.
  • Collaborate with corporate headquarters on the exchange of international talent to include contract development, escalation of relocation issues as needed, and to ensure a smooth onboarding of expatriates to new country and culture.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner role, resolving complex employee relations issues and delivering contemporary HR practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is required
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, etc.
  • Experience and/or exposure working for a global organization, preferably with headquarters outside of the US.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Native / Fluent English required, Spanish desirable.
