In Greece we conduct business through our joint venture with the National Bank of Greece, NBG Pay. NBG Pay provides merchant acquiring services to small, medium, large and corporate merchants across Greece. Services include the authorization, clearing, and settlement of credit, debit and prepaid card transactions between cardholders and merchants.

We are currently seeking an experienced and competent Junior Sales Analyst in Athens, reporting to the Sales Analysis & Support Manager in Greece, who will be responsible for providing support to the sales team and customers during the sales process. He/She will be responsible to help customers resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner, generally providing real-time support.

Summary of This Role

This junior level position combines data analysis with sales support to drive effective decision-making in a dynamic payment solutions environment. The successful candidate will be a curious and enthusiastic data explorer, eager to learn and apply Business Intelligence tools. Using SQL and Google Data Studio, you'll mine sales information, visualize trends, and contribute to compelling presentations that help the sales team achieve their goals. What Part Will You Play?

• Contribute to sales proposals and client presentations: Collaborate with the sales team on proposals by gathering data, performing research, and building powerful dashboards.
• Unlock data insights: Explore customer trends and sales information using SQL and build meaningful data visualizations in Google Data Studio.
• Support continuous improvement: Help maintain sales documentation and identify areas to streamline reporting processes.
• Build BI proficiency: Develop your knowledge of BI tools, sales cycle phases, and the broader world of the payments industry.

What We're Looking For

• University Degree: Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a STEM field. A Master's in a relevant area is a bonus.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Junior Sales Analyst. Experience in industries like Technology, Payments, Fintech, or Telco will be considered a plus
• Passion for data analysis: Curiosity about uncovering patterns and using data to tell compelling stories.
• Technology-savvy
• Foundation in tools: Basic understanding of SQL and willingness to dive deeper into Google Data Studio. Familiarity with Tableau or other BI software is a plus.
• Communication and teamwork: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, and collaborate with both sales teams and technical colleagues.
• Initiative and drive: Self-starter mentality, eagerness to learn, and the desire to tackle problems.
• Fluency in Greek and English: Excellent written and spoken skills in both languages.
