As a Consumer PC Category Manager for Personal Systems, you'll will be responsible for managing Greece & Cyprus overall revenue and margin for the Consumer Personal Systems groups. Defining the strategy to maximize the revenue and margin with the right approach for the different routes to markets aligned with the overall HP strategy. You'll be a key point of contact for sales, retailers and distributors. You will manage a broad range of processes and tasks, from creating the right configurations to pricing analysis of the market, backlog management, pricing setup, and inventory analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.
- Manage Key performance metrics
- Develop portfolios and control Brand Mix of products into the market
- Launch new product successfully
- Works with and leverages internal/external partners to deliver the business results
- Regular interface with any level in sales organization
- Revenue and margin responsibility
- Functional responsibility for the team may be assigned (market analysis, marketing engagement, SF communication etc)
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically 4-6 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Greece and Cyprus Retail PC Landscape
- Track record in Retail PC Channel
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing or Finance
- Operational Market research. Understanding of Product Life
- Understanding/ Practice of sales processes in the IT industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- IT industry knowledge
- Business planning skills
- Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage business planning and reporting
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices
- Strategic and analytical thinker who can also operate in detail
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Customer and data driven
