ADP Store is seeking a dedicated Business Development specialist to support our expansion efforts in Melbourne and across the state. In this role, you will manage our showroom, visit store owners such as IGA and Cellarbrations, and perform site measure-ups and consultations. This role is essential in promoting ADP as an industry leader, providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth through strong support and effective coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-presented to provide a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Assist store owners, including IGA and Cellarbrations, by providing expert advice and support on ADP products and services.
  • Perform site measure-ups and consultations to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of ADP products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store owners and other key stakeholders, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct F2F Visits at potential clients stores and locations to scope out project requirements and tailor solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between store owners and ADP’s internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities such as client presentations and customer calls to generate new business opportunities.
  • Present proposals and presentations and follow up tenaciously..
  • Analyze technical briefs and architect drawings for store projects, proposing suitable ADP solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to devise innovative ideas or promotions to bolster sales efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Consultant, preferably with a track record in shop fittings & design industry.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in shopfitting.
  • Proficiency in CRMs and familiarity with email systems.
  • Demonstrated capability to initiate and sustain robust relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
