About the product development organisation

At Trustly we have around 15 product development teams working with building and running our products. These teams are divided into 4 domains where one of the domains is called the Platform domain. The platform domain have a general responsibility in our best practices and engineering principles and in the domain leadership team we have architects and security engineers that are supporting all of the engineering teams.

About the role

The architect role at Trustly is a coordinating and supporting role that are responsible for keeping our architecture together. This is being done in close collaboration with the teams and with our community of lead developers. The architects are responsible for keeping our engineering principles up to date and at a high standard and to support and enable the teams to adhere to them.

What you'll do

• Owning our overall systems architecture and the owning the engineering principles we adhere to
• Closely collaborating with all teams to support them in there technical/solution design
• Keeping cross team initiatives together from an architectural perspective
• Drive our target architecture journey

Who you are

• Senior architect with vast experience from AWS and microservice and event driven architecture
• Deep competence within Kubernetes, Java, Kafka, React
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines and other developer service related topics
• An agile mindset in product development with build quality in and security aspect as a natural priority
