Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team! Our client, a premier cloud contact center platform, offers cutting-edge tools for call routing, analytics, and automation. Project Overview:

Join an exciting Google Cloud Infrastructure project focused on optimizing and scaling current business activities. Our client aims to manage, automate, and expand this project to a global presence, including the EU and APAC regions. Responsibilities:

• Develop automation capabilities for CI/CD and progressive delivery of on-prem and cloud-native applications.
• Support Client's development teams with on-prem and cloud-native workflows, providing training and tools to automate software delivery with a focus on scalability and high availability.
• Design and build secure, highly scalable, enterprise-grade platform services.
• Clearly document and communicate architectural and implementation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, testers, and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and support the current cloud platform in production.
• Debug and assist with production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure and production operations.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Native application delivery.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud infrastructures, particularly GCP, GKE (required), and familiarity with AWS and Azure.
• Practical experience with core cloud services, including compute, storage, network, virtualization, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for building robust platforms through automation with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience in building automation and deploying high-quality software using test frameworks, CI/CD, and Progressive Delivery.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux-based systems and runtimes.
• Strong development skills in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Golang, or Java.
• Expert proficiency in the current technology stack: Helm, Istio, EKS.
• An infrastructure engineer mindset with familiarity in site reliability engineering, demonstrating a sense of ownership throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Understanding of running mission-critical software in production.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
