The main focus of the role will be to manage the Supply Chain activities required in the introduction of new products and product transfers into Cytiva Manufacturing or Contract Manufacturing locations. Tracking of the supply chain activities required for each project with a focus on ensuring that they are running on time and to budget is a key part of the role. The role holder will also be a key member of the New Product Introduction Project Core team and will work closely with Project Management, R&D and Global Sourcing team.

What you’ll do

• Understanding the Project deliverables and ensuring Supply Chain readiness for each project launch in Cardiff.
• Coordinating the supply chain team defining roles and responsibilities, project deliverables and ensuring project is on track.
• High level resource planning of Supply Chain staff involved in projects.
• Completion of supply chain project evaluations and documentation for Milestone exits.
• Ensure detailed evaluation of possible manufacturing sites has been conducted and decisions are in line with the Life Science Supply Chain Strategy.
• Ensure quality compliance activities are resourced and executed.
• Set goals and objectives for the local team, and assist in the evaluation of the team against these metrics. Identify opportunities for improvement proactively.
• Present key project information to stake holders and Senior Management.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance with EHS and other legal requirements.
• Budget and control expenses within operational plan (OP).
• Analyze quality levels through use of Six Sigma or related tools and develop and implement improvement programs.

Who you are

• Analytically inclined with demonstrated troubleshooting and planning skills
• Detail oriented and focused on driving decision with data
• Excellent communicator comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization
• Good project manager; Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and DFSS certification preferred
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical fields with more than 3 years of experience in engineering, production or troubleshooting of Equipment and Processes
• Required, working knowledge of a clean room environment and in the Bio-Science, Medical Device, or Pharma industries
